National Teacher Appreciation Day

National Teacher Appreciation Day is observed on the Tuesday of the first full week in May. This day is part of Teacher Appreciation Week, which is the first full week in May of each year. On National Teacher Appreciation Day and during National Teacher Appreciation Week, we show our educators how much we value their service in the classroom, how much we appreciate all they do for our students and families, and how thankful we are for their contributions to our national progress.
