November 14th
National Spicy Guacamole Day

Spicy guacamole is a dip made from mashed avocado, spices, and other ingredients that is typically served as a condiment or appetizer. The main ingredient in guacamole is avocado, which is mashed to a smooth or chunky consistency depending on preference. Other ingredients typically added to guacamole include diced tomatoes, diced onion, minced garlic, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and salt. To make spicy guacamole, additional spices such as cayenne pepper, chili powder, or jalapeƱo peppers can be added to give the dip a kick of heat. The amount of spice added can be adjusted to taste, with some people preferring a mild level of heat while others prefer a spicier version. Spicy guacamole can be served with tortilla chips, fresh vegetables, or as a topping for tacos, burritos, or other Mexican dishes. It can also be used as a spread on sandwiches or burgers, or as a dip for grilled meats or vegetables.
