National Public Lands Day

Celebrated annually on the fourth Saturday of September as a signature event of the National Environmental Education Foundation, National Public Lands Day promotes both popular enjoyment and volunteer conservation of public lands. National Public Lands Day is the nation's largest, single-day volunteer effort for public lands.
