National Milk Chocolate Day

Milk chocolate is solid chocolate made with milk. The German company Jordan & Timaeus invented milk chocolate in 1839 as a drink. Milk chocolate as a solid was developed in 1875 in Switzerland by Daniel Peter and Henri Nestle.
